Chittenden County Republicans welcome Lee Zeldin, former New York Congressman and candidate for Governor of New York to South Burlington On April 20. Tickets for the event are available on the Chittenden County Republican website, http://www.ccgopvt.org.
The event is a dinner and fundraiser taking place at the Delta Marriott Hotel, 1117 Williston Road in South Burlington on Thursday, April 20, at 6 pm. There is a VIP reception for sponsors also at 6 pm at the hotel. Individual tickets for the event, including dinner are $75.
Congressman Zeldin’s run for Governor of New York in 2022 was a nationally watched race and culminated in several congressional seats in the Empire state won by Republican candidates. He will speak on the challenges and prospective opportunities of running as a Republican candidate in 2024 and beyond. Congressman Zeldin was interviewed several times on the WVMT Morning Drive show hosts Kirk Wright and Anthony Neary during the 2022 campaign.
