They don’t want you packing upper-deckskis. They don’t want you enjoying a zynachinno on a Sunday morning. A little Zynbabwe on your way to work? FORBIDDEN!
At this point some of you might be wondering… Paul what on earth are you talking about?
“Zyn” has become a popular “nicotine delivery device” across the United States as an alternative to vaping, cigarette smoking, and chewing tobacco. They are similar to tobacco pouches, however the “zyngrediants” are just a little different.
Zyn has become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon within conservative circles including a major advocate for the product, Tucker Carlson. On the “Full Send Podcast” hosted by “The Nelk Boys” Tucker refrained “Zyn is not a Sin.”
However, according to the Vermont Legislature Zyn actually IS a sin.
S.18 is a Bill that would ban the sale of flavored tobacco products and e-cigarettes. It has passed the Senate and yesterday, it passed the all-important Second Reading in the House. After likely approval on Third Reading today, it will go back to the Senate for approval again – because the House added to the Senate bill a ban on Zyn.
In a time where the state desperately needs tax revenues from any source it can get it from, why is the supermajority actively seeking ways to cut down on revenue? Not to mention that this bill won’t stop anyone from getting the products they want. You can still buy these products online and that’s what people are already doing…. Or you can do another thing a lot of people are already doing to avoid sales tax: drive to New Hampshire.
All this is going to do is hurt small businesses in Vermont and decrease the tax revenue, which we desperately need.
Why? So we can once again, pat ourselves on the back and feel like heroes? It’s time to get our priorities straight.
And to the Supermajority-
WHY do you want to ruin everything that is amazing in this world? WHY do you have to take everything that is cool and fun and enjoyable, and make it not that way?
For the record I am not an avid “Zynner” (they hurt my tummy) but if wanted to become one I should have the right to without the Government ruining it for me.
The war on Zyns has only begun..
I already told you they’re coming for your right to hunt. And your ability to afford to buy a home. Next they’re coming for your zyns… and what’s next – telling you you’re not allowed to own a gas-burning TRUCK? (Oh, right...).
