The recent return of the trans agenda in the Hartford school district indicates a school system in decline thanks to activists who believe they are above the law. Rather than accept political defeat at the hands of conservatives both in the state and throughout the country, as well as a preponderance of public opinion polls indicating seventy five percent of Americans are not aligned with the trans ideology, the Hartford school district continues to defy its fiduciary responsibility to taxpayers and respect the results of current law.
Just this past month the Trump administration, which was elected by both electoral majority and popular vote taking all of the swing states, passed a “No Men In Women’s Sports” Executive Order in conjunction with a banning of DEI departments in government. One would think this type of mandate would speak loudly to the woke / DEI / cultural Marxist crowd that America is not on board with your communist agenda. However reality has never been an impediment to a group no longer able to identify what a woman is unless it used to be a man.
What is the message this type of low-grade rebelliousness sends to our teens and kids? What does it say to one’s neighbors as well? It says “we are above the law” in more ways than one.
Trans and DEI activists believe they are above the natural law for starters. Rather than adhere to biological reality they assault it with their perpetual rallying cry of oppressor versus oppressed slyly disguised by their pseudo-scientific theories using abstract terms like “spectrum” or “identity category”. These people think the exception supersedes the rule rather than proves it. 99% or more of mammals fit nicely into an inoffensive and simple binary – male or female. Ask any farmer or bird watcher or obstetrician, it’s not theoretical physics. It’s basic biology. Nature makes it plain as day up and down the spectrum of creatures. Bird plumage connotes sex, size and genitals in mammals as well, and we see this time and time again with almost perfect uniformity. It is utterly natural to observe sexual binaries in every species.
However what distinguishes humans from the rest of the animal kingdom is the capacity for rational thought, which brings with it the capacity for irrational thought. The left have inverted rationality with a fetishist preening in front of the mirror of one’s mind enabling a narcissism which admires everything precisely backwards. Basic biological reality and a 99% majority resulting in functional binaries must be subsumed to elevate and focus on the malformed 1%. It’s symbolic of the elite one percenters who rule over the rational ninety-nine percent bending us to their convoluted and delusional wills. A five year old can tell you what a woman is by casual observation. It takes an Ivy League graduate to believe the inability to make this distinction is some type of scientific achievement.
In many ways Hartford is a lovely town full of lovely people. However its proximity to Ivy League Dartmouth has made it a bedroom community for the upper crust who are turning it into an activist colony whereby they get to run social experiments aligned with the cultural elite. The well meaning and hard working people of this town have swallowed the bait of the left for some time now. They believe it is good people who look out for the poor and underserved by creating a network of social services which, as evidence shows, has done little to eradicate poverty or marginalization. Having a mental illness, brandishing an LGBTQ flag and forcing yourself to believe you are inherently racist are now badges of honor to be worn by the virtuous. A steady supply of “oppressed” people, whether imported or created in the school, allows the game to continue indefinitely.
Thus academics with obscure titles like Equity Coordinator or Diversity Director thrive in a society where social ills are not to be cured but multiplied. Like Raytheon and McDonell-Douglas need wars to turn a profit, DEI administrators need societal division for the micro-wars they marshal over like generals. As hate feeds the next global conflict to require armaments, infrastructure and regime change, so the same division among the masses empowers experts in identity politics to commander institutions like high priests and priestesses presiding over the faithful, with ignorance and fear as the main tools used by both for their manipulations.
Lawlessness is the result and what is required to keep the new clergy in business. The more chaos the better, because it necessitates their existence and validates their authority. Have a look at the attendance records in the school. Listen to the side conversations among the faculty. Note the steady decline in academic performance as kids become masters at designer pronouns and social grievances yet can hardly do basic math, read at grade level or name a state capitol. Note the rise in mental illness, especially among girls who instinctively sense the rising lack of security. This, the revolutionaries will tell you, is progress. This town is now more likely to sit out the pledge of allegiance, have boys changing in girl’s locker rooms and offer needles to heroin addicts than it is to recognize the greatness of America, the chastity of children and the travesty of drug addiction, all in the upside down world of leftist ideology that confuses good for evil.
It is becoming lawless and it will reap what it sows.
