Dylan Leavitt, 23, of Enosburg was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Fairfield February 18. State police say the crash took place on Vermont Route 36, near the intersection of Whiteland Drive, at about 5:50 a.m.

Leavitt was traveling east on Vermont Route 36, crossed the double yellow centerline, and shortly thereafter departed the road. Police say the vehicle was nearly broadside and struck a tree near the front driver door.

Leavitt, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected. Speed, alcohol and road conditions appear to be contributing factors, police say.
