The Free Press just reported that Mississippi is doing a better job at educating children than other states. This article includes a chart comparing the trends in NAEP’s (National Assessment of Educational Progress) grade 4 reading scores for Mississippi and Maine.
Using data from NAEP’s website, here is a chart like the one in TFP’s article, but with data for Vermont as well as Mississippi and Maine. It appears that the woke states have not been doing a good job lately of educating their children.
Did you know that much of Vermont’s public education system – teachers, administrators, education institutions, including the State Agency of Education, and teachers’ colleges – encourage, and mandate in some cases, the widespread practice of DEI and transgenderism in schools?
Did you also know that most of the public education system in Vermont intends to ignore President Trump’s orders that denies Federal funding to schools which practice and teach DEI and transgenderism?
To illustrate these points, educators throughout Vermont recently participated in a Zoom meeting, 6 minutes of which were captured by an undercover investigator (Karlyn Borysenko), wherein they declare that they will NOT follow new U.S. Department of Education standards that schools must meet in order to qualify for Federal funding….
Karlyn Borysenko posted another clip from a Zoom meeting where Vermont educators are encouraged to hire based on race and gender. In other words, Vermont isn’t supposed to hire or promote educators based on merit, at least what most parents and taxpayers consider to be merit.
So, the next question to Vermont taxpayers, and especially to parents, is – “Are you willing to lose all the Federal funding currently supporting public education in Vermont so that schools can continue to divide Americans and students based on race, teach racism/bigotry, advocate for communism, tee up children for a lifetime of physical and emotional harm, and make children LESS educated?” Assuming your answer is NO, you’d better get busy challenging Vermont’s current collective of woke educators and their woke enablers in the Legislature.
