On January 16, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’ proposal to place conditions on US military aid to Israel was voted down. A week later, VDC’s Michael Bielawski wrote an article regarding Israel PM Netanyahu’s refusal to accept a two-state solution. Then, Tom Evslin, a former state cabinet officer, wrote a letter to Vermont’s congressional delegation advocating for them to oppose Sanders’s proposal. It appears that Israel’s 9/11 has since replaced the Ukraine/Russian debacle, with the Western media turning that European war into a lumbering back-water conflict.
Sanders will surely again try to limit Israel’s abilities to defeat Hamas, but he doesn’t have to live in a town or a kibbutz bordering Gaza. “I don’t know at what point the Israelis decided that no anti-Jewish pogroms in Israel were impossible,” writes Alex Gordon for American Thinker, “but it seems to me that the October 7 massacre was not only a political failure but also the result of an unsuccessful attempt to prove that the Jewish history of pogroms is over, that the Israeli refuge for the Jewish people precludes the massacre of Jews.”
Before October 7th, this reporter also believed pogroms against Jews were a thing of the past, but that barbaric Islamist pogrom was not the result of Palestinian “resistance” against Israeli “genocide” and “apartheid,” as much as the Western media infers. Bernie has worked on a kibbutz, and so have I, but we are both safe and comfortable here in America, where our neighbors don’t try, religiously, to kill us every day. Is it possible that October 7 was more about Muslims acting like Muhammad than about one terrorist group, Hamas, being the cause of the attack?
Since Islam’s followers are required to practice Mohammad’s ways, it is important to be educated about the life and ways of the warrior prophet Muhammad. See Muhammad – Prophet, Life & Story (biography.com), read the Quran, or former Hamas son, Mosab Hassan Yousef. Hassan Yousef, Mosab (2 March 2010). Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices (First ed.). Carol Stream, Illinois: Tyndale Momentum. ISBN 978-1-4143-3307-6.
It seems that a majority of Muslims in the Middle East have been institutionalized and duped by a Quran-based disrespect or hatred of the Jewish people, Qurans position regarding Christians and Jews (islamweb.net), but that’s nothing new since the 7th Century when Muhammad led massacres of Jews, Christians, and other infidels. The founder of Islam (born 570- died 632) ordered the deaths of countless people. “Because it is now axiomatic for American school textbooks to whitewash all things Islamic,” states Raymond Ibrahim, an Egyptian-American author/reporter with Jihad Watch and Gatestone Institute, “it may be instructive to examine one of those aspects that are regularly distorted: the Muslim conquests.” The Jerusalem-based writer continues, “The colorful accounts contained in the Muslim tradition are typified by constant warfare, which normally goes as follows: Muslims go to a new region and offer the inhabitants three choices: 1) submit (i.e., convert) to Islam; 2) live as second-class citizens, or “dhimmis,” paying special taxes and accepting several social debilitations; 3) fight to the death.’
Ibrahim has authored several books regarding Islam, but one of his best sellers is The Sword and the Scimitar, 1400 Years of War Between Islam and the West. It may be surprising to many readers that all Middle Eastern nations were once thriving patchwork of Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Pagans, and other infidels until Mohammad’s armies presented them with those three aforementioned choices. With much bloodshed, Iraq was conquered in 638, Iran in 632-654, Libya in 643, Syria in 634-40, and Turkey, & Morocco in the 8th Century.
According to Biography, an online history channel, “Most people in Mecca either ignored him or mocked him as just another prophet.” But as soon as Mohammad employed violent raids with mass murder, looting, raping, and enslaving captives, he got his point across that one God, not polytheism and pagan idolatry, was the way to make Arabia a great and united nation.
Given the Prophet Muhammad’s immense impact on history,” writes New Zealand-based Professor Joel Hayward in his 2022 book, The Warrior Prophet, “surprisingly few books specifically analyze his understanding and employment of warfare as an economically, politically, and socially transformational process, even though he was continuously at war for a decade and initiated around eighty armed missions, twenty-seven of which he led himself.” In other words, the fawning Canterbury University academic approves of Mohammad’s historic practice of terror, murder, rape, robbery and slavery.
October 7th was about Arabs taking Palestine back by force and moving it back into the House of Islam, or Dar Al Islam. Has the elite Western media hijacked/canceled journalism’s right even to criticize Islam and its adherents?
