The first hyperbolic statement contaminating Bernie Sanders’ latest virtue-signaling 9/18 press release is, “The (US weapons to Israel) sales include several systems that are directly tied to tens of thousands of civilian deaths in Gaza.” Bernie and his speech writer(s) accept and peddle ad nauseam the Palestinian Ministry of Health Authority’s inflated figures. Ergo, Sanders exports PPP, or Pro-Palestine propaganda brought to you by YaYa Sinwar and the other mass murderers who organized or took an active part in the October 7th massacre of 1200 innocent Israeli citizens.
Suppose you are a medical staff official working for the PMH. In that case, you realize going against killers can and often does lead to a bullet to the head, or to save a bullet, being forcefully accompanied up ten to thirty flights of stairs and tossed off the big flat roof onto the hard flat street below. Even pro-Palestine PBS News admits, “The chaos has added to the likelihood of errors.” Yet as the Gaza-based Ministry of Health continues to tally casualty numbers that activist journalists such as Lola Duffort of Vermont Digger believe and print. What is Gaza’s Ministry of Health and how does it calculate the war’s death toll? | PBS News
Sanders stated that “Israel, of course, had the right to defend itself against Hamas. It did not, however, have the right to wage an all-out war against the Palestinian people, which is what PM Netanyahu’s extremist government has done.” Notice that Sanders’ peppy speech writer utilizes the past tense “had” rather than “has.” Of course, there is never any mention of Hamas terrorists consistently hiding behind innocent Palestinian civilians because that would be raining on their proper propaganda parade.
But when you are a Vermont congressman who works predominantly for the radical left, even after Islamo-terrorists slaughter 1200 innocent civilians, your contrary communist nature will doggedly continue to attack the facts since Israeli leadership is considered “right-wing extremist.” If Canada and Mexico were as hostile as Israel’s neighbors, Sanders, Omar, Pelosi, Biden, Harris, etc., would never have gotten into office, and our country’s borders would be secure.
Online Co-Pilot purports that “the assumption” Hamas fights behind innocent civilian shields is “highly contentious.” Still, the same AI search engine states, “Reports indicate that rocket launchers and other military equipment are often hidden in the residential neighborhoods, schools, and hospitals.” CBS News, as always, insists upon professional neutrality only when it comes to the Jewish state: Israel says these photos show how Hamas places weapons in and near U.N. facilities in Gaza, including schools – CBS News
“Sadly, and illegally, much of the carnage in Gaza has been carried out with US-provided military equipment,” states Sanders PR stunt. Hamas using Iranian, Russian, Turkish and Chinese arms in murdering 1200 innocent Israeli civilians is also illegal, but Bernie ignores such trivialities.
The Israeli army’s “blocking of humanitarian aid into Gaza” is also widespread progressive indoctrination. According to a March 27th AJC News Report, Israel and its allies have had to side-step Hamas terrorists to deliver nearly 375,000 tons of humanitarian aid. In an astonishing autobiography, Son of Hamas, Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, writes how the terrorist organization was created in early December 1987: “In Gaza, an Israeli plastics salesman named Shlomo Sakal was stabbed to death. Just a few days later, four people from Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp were killed in a routine traffic accident. Word spread, however, that they had been killed by Israelis in revenge for Sakal’s murder. Riots broke out…the First Intifada had begun.” Hamas was created with a vicious lie, and the sympathetic international media greedily swallowed the bait, and continues to do so.
The younger Yousef, now 45, turned against Hamas after being trusted at the highest levels of this Islamo-terrorist mob. “Having spent ten years secretly (with the Israeli Mossad) fighting against Hamas, I know it is a global threat, an ideological monster that wants to dominate the world. We are all hostages of Hamas as they continue to manipulate the world for their own ends. The leaders of Hamas are con men who use the Palestinian cause to become richer and more powerful. They do not care about the Palestinian people.
“The children of Gaza sit in despair and poverty while the leaders of Hamas and their families enjoy expensive jewelry and luxury hotels in Qatar. As the war they started on October 7 kills thousands , they use women, children, and old people as human shields.”
Converting to Christianity in 1999, Yousef abandoned his Islamic upbringing at 22. Yet he has much good to say about Islam and how “many people in the West who stereotype all Muslims as terrorists don’t know about the side of Islam that reflects love and mercy.” That side cares for the poor, the widows and orphans, and promotes education and welfare, but too many of these good G-d fearing people are tyrannized by “religious” gangsters who feed upon their blood, sweat, and tears.
Yousef also speaks of the Arab world’s viewpoint that “foreigners had invaded and now occupied Palestine, home of the Al Aqsa Mosque Islam’s third holiest place on earth after Mecca and Medina.” However, that structure was built in the 7th Century ACE upon the ruins of Judaism’s holiest site, ‘the Wailing Wall,” or HaKotel Ha- Ma’aravi, “the Western Wall,” הַכּוֹתֶל הַמַּעֲרָבִי. It is the last remains of the Second Jewish Temple, completed in 515 BCE, long before Islam rode with whip and scimitar from Mecca to ultimately conquer most of the Levant, which was then pagan or Christian lands.
So, this eternal conflict spins on and on. In the film version of John LeCarre’s Little Drummer Girl, Diane Keaton’s young and impressionable American tourist, initially sympathetic to the Arab cause, argues with Major Kurtz of the Mossad, portrayed by Klaus Kinski, who hopes to recruit her to be a double agent. They argue back and forth, a paradigm of the conflict itself, when the Jewish officer asks, “Where would you have us go, Charlie? Maybe you would prefer us to take a piece of Central Africa or Uruguay? Not Egypt, thank you, we tried that once and it was not a success.”
What people like Keaton’s character and the other restless Western-collegiate Hamas fan-girls and boys, as well as their anti-Zionist professors, need to understand is that Israel isn’t moving anywhere and cannot afford to give up any more land. Israel disengaged and evacuated Gaza in 2005, and look what happened.
