Friday at Four: Callers sound off on Biden debate disaster

For the first time EVER, Friday at Four took live phone calls from our listening audience. One caller compared the current Biden presidency to ‘Edith Wilson 2.0.’

The reference is to Edith Wilson, First Lady to Woodrow Wilson (1912-1920), who reportedly made many decisions in the name of her husband, who was felled by a stroke in the final years of his second term.

Like Woodrow Wilson, Joe Biden appears to be suffering diminished capacity and is being shielded from public exposure of his condition by his wife. As with Wilson, the voting public is unsure who is really making the decisions in the White House.

One interesting feature of the callers last night – MANY live out-of-state. Looks like Friday at Four is developing a national following, be it ever so tiny right now. “Despise not small beginnings,” as a wise man once said.

Good to hear by phone or chat from Kevin Ryan, Mike Kaminsky, Anthony Williams, Annette Baker and many others.
