Biden, who is vacationing in the Lake Tahoe area, was asked by a reporter on Friday if he could say anything about the uptick of COVID cases and a new variant. “Yes, I can,” the president said. “I signed off this morning on a proposal we have to present to Congress a request for additional funding for a new vaccine that is necessary, that works.”

Magoffin County Schools is less than two weeks into the new year, yet illness has already caught up to their student body. The district announced that all schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to illness. Magoffin County Health Department Director Pete Shepherd says [the absentees] started as a combination of illnesses, but now, COVID has risen above the rest. “The last month before school, we hardly gave out any home tests. We started giving them out again, and we can’t get them fast enough to give them out,” Shepherd said.

Maui fire investigation: Maui’s top emergency officials were on a different island for a disaster training as flames flared and did not join response call until five hours after the deadly ‘wildfires’ begun | 24 Aug 2023 | Maui’s top emergency officials were on another island when the [Directed Energy Weapons-induced] wildfires begun, it emerged on Wednesday – and did not join a call about the response until five hours after the blazes broke out. Dozens of senior bureaucrats were gathering on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, on August 8 for the annual meeting of FEMA coordinators in the Pacific region… A state emergency management spokesperson told Hawaii News Now the ‘coordinating call about 11am’ was held to discuss multiple wildfires that had sparked on the Big Island and Maui. FEMA confirmed the fires were part of discussions during the conference, held at the Alohilani Beach Resort in Honolulu…Those attending the conference included Herman Andaya, the then-director of Maui County Emergency Management Agency, who defended the decision not to activate emergency warnings. Andaya resigned on August 17, nine days after the wildfires, citing his health. It had emerged he had no background in disaster response: Local news site Maui Now reported in 2017 that he was hired over 40 other qualified applicants.

Maui residents were blocked by barricades while trying to escape deadly wildfires | 23 Aug 2023 | The fires in Lahaina on the Hawaiian island of Maui tore through the community with virtually no warning. Sirens that are meant to alert residents of tsunamis were not sounded as officials believed that sounding the warnings would cause more harm than not. Yet residents say that if they had just another 10-15 minutes, lives would have been saved. “We needed like 10 more minutes, and we could have saved a lot of kids,” said Nate Baird to the AP, who escaped from the fires with his wife and two children. “If we’d just had like a 10- or 15-minute warning.” The children were the ones who alerted Baird about the fires, saying that the air smelled like s’mores… When Baird and his family tried to leave Lahaina to the south, they were confronted with barricades and a crew telling everyone to turn back due to downed electric polls. The crew was ushering people back into the fires. Baird and his family didn’t do as they were told, instead driving around the barricades.

Telltale Evidence That Lahaina Was Destroyed by Directed Energy Weapons –A blue laser will burn all objects, but it will not burn blue items. Notice in the picture the blue T-shirts and their price tags attached with strings survived the alleged fire that destroyed the building. By Edward Hendrie | 26 Aug 2023 | …Lahaina became a target of one of the Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFLR) directed energy “operational missions” on August 8, 2023. Proof can be found in the rubble. Directed energy has certain characteristics that are unlike a fire. They leave behind telltale evidence. For example, microwave directed energy weapons cause molecular destruction of materials that absorb microwaves; wood remains unfazed because wood absorbs very little microwave radiation. That is why we notice that in Lahaina there are trees with branches and foliage that remained unscathed by fire while surrounded by immolated buildings…The cover story that Lahaina was destroyed by wildfire is impeached by the fact that the trees remain standing among the rubble. The trees are silent testimony that accidental wildfires did not destroy Lahaina; directed energy weapons were employed to do the job. This was criminal genocide.

Judge Rejects RFK Jr’s Request for Order Blocking Google From Censoring Him | 24 Aug 2023 | A federal judge has rejected a request from presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for an order that would block Google from censoring him. Google and its subsidiary, YouTube, have removed multiple videos of Mr. Kennedy in recent months because they allegedly contained medical misinformation. The removals violate Mr. Kennedy’s First Amendment rights because they were spurred by government policy, Mr. Kennedy’s lawyers said in a motion for a temporary restraining order. Evidence from another case has shown that government officials regularly collaborated with Big Tech companies such as Google to censor users, and YouTube’s policy is that information contradicting U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance will be censored.

Google burying websites of Trump and other Biden challengers – report –Searching ‘presidential campaign websites’ returned incumbent Joe Biden’s webpage and several inactive Democrats | 26 Aug 2023 | Google is suppressing the 2024 campaign websites of all serious challengers to Democratic incumbent President [sic] Joe Biden, a report from the Media Research Center claimed on Thursday. Searching the web for “presidential campaign websites” using Google returned results that did not include a single Republican candidate on the first page the day before the first Republican primary debate of the 2024 season, according to the MRC. Not even former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is polling neck-and-neck with Biden, appeared in the first few pages of results, the media watchdog observed. Nor did Democratic challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the chief threat to Biden’s candidacy from within his own party, appear in the results at all, even though a recent poll had him at nearly 20 percent in a matchup against Biden.

Donald Trump posts mugshot meme with guns pointed at his face saying ‘Soros’ and ‘pedophiles’ –The meme posted on Truth Social shows his mugshot surrounded by CGI guns –Each gun is emblazoned with a word representing Trump’s apparent adversaries –They illustrate the narrative he’s under fire from politically motivated forces | 25 Aug 2023 | Donald Trump has reposted a meme of his mugshot complete with 19 CGI guns surrounding his face just hours after his humiliating surrender at a Georgia county jail. The meme shared on Truth Social 4.8k times shows the former president’s police picture modified with a flurry of pistols pointed at his head, each emblazoned with words representing his apparent enemies. Illustrating the 77-year-old’s narrative that he is under fire from corrupt, politically motivated authorities who want to sabotage his 2024 White House bid, the guns are branded with words like “Soros,” “pedophiles,” “Democrats,” and “fake news.” Other firearms say “indictment,” “globalists,” “fascists,” “deep state,” and “FBI,” while the words “NEVER SURRENDER! WE STAND UNITED WITH TRUMP!” frame the image. Trump re-posted it on his self-created social media platform not long after he made history by becoming the first former president to pose for a mugshot.

Trump Surrenders to Authorities in Atlanta, Released After Booking | 24 Aug 2023 | Former President Donald Trump surrendered himself to authorities at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, on Aug. 24 at roughly 7:36 p.m. local time. He was released on a 200,000 bond in about 20 minutes after going through the booking process, including fingerprinting and having his picture taken for a mug shot–the first ever taken of a U.S. president. His private jet landed at the Atlanta International Airport at 7:03 p.m., after which a 13-vehicle motorcade brought him to the notoriously dangerous jailhouse through a highway cleared off all traffic by the police. President Trump had until noon on Aug. 25 to have himself booked to avoid arrest after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis charged him and 18 associates with dozens of crimes, including a racketeering conspiracy based on his efforts to challenge the official results of the 2020 election coup.

Biden Staffer Met With Member of Jack Smith’s Team Before Trump Indictment | 26 Aug 2023 | White House visitor logs show that an aide for special counsel Jack Smith quietly met with the White House Counsel’s office just weeks before President Donald Trump’s indictment on classified documents charges. Visitor logs reviewed by The Epoch Times show that Jay Bratt, a prosecutor on Mr. Smith’s team, met with Caroline Saba, deputy chief of staff for President [sic] Joe Biden’s White House Counsel’s office, on March 31. While the logs provide no details as to the subject of the meeting or what was discussed, questions have been raised about why a member of Mr. Smith’s team would be meeting with the White House Counsel’s office while in the midst of an investigation into President Trump, who is Joe Biden’s chief rival in the 2024 presidential race.

Just Days Before Khan’s Car Crackdown Goes Live, One London Area Sees 90 Per Cent of Cameras Destroyed | 24 Aug 2023 | Almost all of the licence-plate reading cameras that will enable London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s fresh crackdown on driving in the city in one neighbourhood have already been destroyed by “Blade Runners,” just days before the scheme is supposed to come into force. As many as nine in ten of Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) cameras installed in the London suburb of Sydenham and Sidcup have already been disabled according to an online information-sharing group. According to The Times, the group takes submissions from the public when they see ULEZ cameras being installed, track locations on a viewable map, and record whether they are still functional or not. Recent reports have noted the varying ways disgruntled members of the public — described as a criminal “small minority of people” [LOL] by London government spokesmen but who call themselves “Blade Runners” — have found to take out the cameras they object to. Among them are full-on theft of the cameras themselves, detaching the power and data cables that feed into them from their street poles, cutting the wires, or less active acts as simple as pushing the camera upwards to point at the sky with a stick, or placing a sticker of the lens.

Tax on electric cars looms as fuel excise dwindles –Treasurer Jim Chalmers has confirmed there’s still a live option around a controversial EV question that could end up costing some Aussies. | 24 Aug 2023 | Treasurer Jim Chalmers has confirmed that the question of a road user charge on electric vehicles to replace fuel excise and pay for road upgrades remains a live option that will be considered by future governments. Experts have called for a debate on a road user charge for years warning that the rapid take up of electric vehicles will decimate fuel revenues. But because electric vehicles are heavier, some studies suggest they deliver twice as much stress on roads compared to petrol vehicles, potentially increasing the expense of upgrading roads in the future.
