Burlington police have identified a woman whose body was found earlier this month in the Winooski River.
Police said officers were called to the river near Chase Street at 6:54 PM Aug. 4 after receiving a report of an apparent deceased person in the water.
Investigators identified the woman as Molly Latimer, 49, formerly of St. Albans. The cause and manner of her death have not yet been determined by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, police said.
