A candlelight vigil will be held for assassinated conservative leader Charlie Kirk this evening at 5 PM, Saturday September 27 at Four Corners, Main Street in Bennington.
The event is organized by Melissa Mason and Sarah Gagnon. The announcement, which can be seen and shared on Facebook, states that 111 people have indicated they will attend and another 355 are interested.
“Join us as we gather together peacefully to mourn the loss of Charlie Kirk. A limited number of candles will be available but we encourage you to bring your own. We will gather together at the four corners starting at 5 pm. Let the Lord Jesus shine through us as we remember our brother in Christ,” Mason and Gagnon said in their announcement.
The vigil is the latest for a series of grassroots gatherings held around the state since Kirk was assassinated in Utah on September 10.
