I’ve done it myself in West Pawlet….and a neighbor on Staniford Rd in Burlington
had a very large [& prolific] peach tree……with giant yellow peaches, not the white “northern” varity.
My grandmother (born 1897) grew peaches and pears in Lamoille county…..Fedco (Maine) has both and much more for our zones. get on the email list, order early, cause they sell out fast…..
