  1. “Hamlin is no stranger to the police. They say he’s been arrested 10 times and had 18 encounters with various Vermont police agencies during 2022.”

Yet, he was out free-as-a-bird stealing a car.

What does that SAY about the criminal justice leadership in Vermont?

  2. That is a noble goal, but should “undocumented workers”, people who by the very definition of their being here (illegal aliens) are law breakers, be allowed to enforce the law ?

  3. That’s cute, but they can’t legally possess a firearm and don’t have SSNs (at least legitimate ones) to pay taxes.
If you want to report a story that is absolutely mind-blowing, look into ALL the occurrences of Chittenden County judges pleading VIOLENT crimes committed by refugees down to lesser charges so they can avoid deportation. God forbid the public here has the facts on the real “success” of our resettlement program.

  4. Sorry, but I’m not being policed by criminals. No. Nope. Never.

But just in case VT knows this is insane enough to partake in – after the illegal alien gives me a ticket, can I then call ICE to get him arrested? Asking for all law-abiding citizens.

  5. The dairy industry in Vermont simply cannot exist without these workers but we dont have a visa program for year-round work on dairies, so these people are at the very least in violation of civil law. Dont know how a criminal background check for hiring a local citizen as a police officer would treat other civil violations such as the repeated failure to pay a speeding fine? Would they hire a tax cheat? It would be interesting to hear from Vermont’s Attorney General on whether a non-citizen can accept a job where there is an oath taken to uphold the Constitution… but I guess I know how TJ would come down on that…in full virtue signaling affirmation.

  6. I have heard it all now. I believe this is the plan: hire illegal immigrants and criminals to enforce democratic unconstitutional law to create and enforce transformative social change in line with the Great Reset. Next thing you know law enforcement will recruit Antifa. I am sure they are up to the job of stamping out Republicans, I mean facsists, according to Biden.
