
Two Springfield, MA men were arrested on drug trafficking charges following a May 19 raid on a Barre City home.
At about 8 pm, after a lengthy investigation, officers with the Barre City Police Department, with assistance from officers with the Barre Town Police Department, executed a search warrant along the 100 block of N. Seminary Street, city police said.
Officers seized about 54.7 grams of crack cocaine, 414 bindles of fentanyl, 2.4 grams of bulk fentanyl, 24.52 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, and many regulated prescription drugs. A vehicle was also seized.
Josue Cordero, 32, and Carlos Inostroza, 30, both of Springfield, MA were taken into custody and lodged in lieu of $25,000 bail each. Both are scheduled to appear in Washington Superior Court on May 22, 2023 to face charges of possession and trafficking of fentanyl, possession and sale of cocaine, possession of hallucinogens, possession of regulated drugs, and dispensing drugs in a dwelling.
