Vermont Right to Life will hold its annual Rally for Life Saturday, January 23 in Montpelier.
Church services praying for increased respect for human life will be held before the rally:
- 9:30AM ~ Saint Augustine’s Church, Respect Life Mass, 16 Barre Street, Montpelier, Vermont, 05602
- 9:30AM ~ Lighthouse Christian Church, 3 St Paul Street, Montpelier, Vermont, 05601
Immediately following the church services, rallyers will gather together behind City Hall for the annual March to the Capitol. Signs will be provided by VRLC for everyone at that time. Those who do not wish to participate in the March are welcome to go directly to the State House steps for the remaining portions of the event.
There will be a short ceremony on the steps of the State House in recognition of the unborn. A group photo of all participants will be taken on the State House steps before conclusion of the program.
“We march because we believe in the sanctity of life,” a VRLC statement said. “We march in remembrance of the millions of unborn babies who were aborted before their birth. And we march in the hope that one day abortion will end.”
LIFE face coverings will be provided along with a variety of signs with pro-life messaging. It is requested that social distancing and masking will be observed.

I thought that the lottery supported education? Please, poor Vermonter, can’t you pay a just little more?

I wish we knew exactly how much of the proceeds support education.
