Norwich University will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with a series of events involving students, faculty, staff, and members of the Central Vermont community.

Commemorative events will begin on Thursday, Sept. 10, when Norwich students from both the Corps of Cadets and civilian student population will place flags in front of Jackman Hall in remembrance of each person murdered in the 9/11 attacks.

Observances will continue throughout the entire 24 hours of Friday, Sept. 11, including Vigil Tours in front of Jackman Hall and an evening Echo Taps ceremony.

Also, the Corps of Cadets will participate in an early-morning Tunnels-to-Towers memorial stair climb, honoring the first responders who so bravely ran toward danger on Sept. 11, 2001, and those who lost their lives that day.
