World Health Organization Is Preparing Vote to Strip the US and 194 Other Nations of Their Sovereignty –Move would give WHO total control over public health | 26 April 2022 | On May 22nd, the World Health Organization (WHO) will vote on whether or not to strip 194 countries, including the United States, of their sovereignty. As part of the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset goal, the WHO is aiming to alter a treaty that would give them global control over human health. The WHO World Health Assembly will vote on the issue from May 22 to 28… The rule change includes very dangerous amendments — 13 of them. Investigative reporter Leo Hohmann reports that these amendments will NOT require approval by two-thirds of the United States Senate. It’s not called a treaty. It’s amending a treaty to which the US already belongs. If they are approved (as submitted by the United States) by a simple majority of the 194 member countries of the World Health Assembly countries, these amendments would enter into force as international law just six months later, November 2022.

Biden blasted for policing free speech with ‘dystopian’ disinformation bureau | 28 April 2022 | Joe Biden came under fire Thursday for the creation of a “dystopian” disinformation bureau created under his Homeland Security department, which critics are blasting as just a way for the government to police free speech online. Conservatives slammed the Department of Homeland Security’s Orwellian new “Disinformation Governance Board” — with some suggesting the timing is convenient given Elon Musk vowed to make Twitter a free speech haven after his takeover of the social media platform notorious for selectively censoring right-leaning points of view. Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley called the new board a “disgrace” that was designed to “monitor all Americans’ speech.” In a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Hawley said he initially thought Wednesday’s announcement was “satire.” “Surely, no American administration would ever use the power of government to sit in judgement on the First Amendment speech of its own citizens. Sadly, I was mistaken,” Hawley wrote. “Rather than protecting our border or the American homeland, you have chosen to make policing Americans’ speech your priority.”

U.S. unveils plans to ramp up censorship with ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ –Move comes days after Elon Musk struck deal to buy Twitter and pledged to restore freedom of speech on social media | 27 April 2022 | Joe Biden’s administration is expanding the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) purview to include fighting speech that the government deems to be “disinformation.” Plans for the new initiative were revealed on Wednesday, when DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas said in a congressional hearing that his department had created a “Disinformation Governance Board.” The new body will be headed by Nina Jankowicz, whose resume includes advising the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and overseeing the Russia and Belarus programs at the National Democratic Institute lobby group. Although Mayorkas unveiled the new entity in response to a question about disinformation being used to sway elections, the new board will reportedly focus on countering “misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.”

Biden seeks $33 billion more for Ukraine | 28 April 2022 | Joe Biden has asked Congress for an additional 33 billion in funding to prop up Ukraine in the ongoing conflict with Russia. A vast part of the massive package is destined for additional military and security aid, while the rest will be used for economic and humanitarian assistance. “The Administration is requesting 20.4 billion in additional security and military assistance for Ukraine and for U.S. efforts to strengthen European security in cooperation with our NATO allies and other partners in the region,” the white House said in a statement. Unveiling the package during his speech at the White House, Biden said it was “critical” for the lawmakers to adopt it. The US administration wants the aid package to get designated as emergency spending, so that it does not have to be offset by spending cuts elsewhere. Apart from the massive aid package for Ukraine, Biden is also seeking new powers to target Russians the U.S. administration believes to be “oligarchs.”

Judge temporarily blocks Biden’s rescission of Title 42 | 25 April 2022 | A federal judge in Louisiana says he intends to block the Biden administration’s plans for rescinding Title 42, siding with GOP-led states that had asked for the courts to force the White House to temporarily retain the pandemic-era border policy. The decision from Judge Robert Summerhays, an appointee of former President Trump, will prevent the Biden administration from carrying out its plans to end Title 42 on May 23 and once again allow migrants to seek asylum. The order, though temporary, is a victory in a suit initially filed by Louisiana, Missouri and Arizona that now includes some 20 GOP-led states.
