An Oxford professor’s take on the transhumanist agenda
by Shannara Johnson
With AI on the rise—and already displacing human workers, especially in the white-collar professions—the transhumanist religion is soaring as well.
Yes, transhumanism is indeed a religion. Listen to the tech billionaires like Peter Thiel, Sam Altman, Alex Karp, Sergei Brin, and Elon Musk: Some of them openly say they want to create a super-intelligent, all-powerful AI “god” that will be indistinguishable from a deity. Others say we humans—with the help of AI, genetic engineering, and top-of-the-line implantable software—will become like gods ourselves.
Watch this compilation video of Yuval Noah Harari, Israeli historian, pet atheist/transhumanist of the Davos crowd, and author of the bestseller, Homo Deus, and you get a glimpse of the dystopian future our globalist masters have planned for us.
Harari claims that “humans are now hackable animals,” and “this whole idea that humans have this soul or spirit, and they have free will, that nobody knows what’s happening inside me… that’s over.” He says “by hacking organisms, elites may gain the power to reengineer the future of life itself.”
It’s such a diabolical view of humanity that it makes me physically sick.
But one man provides a counter-argument that is so good, I had to share it with you. In the presentation below, Oxford Professor of Mathematics John Lennox opposes the parameters of the Beast system (because make no mistake, that’s what this is) with some of his own.
He says, “There is a Homo Deus, a man who is God. But it’s not man becoming God—it’s God becoming man.”
At the heart of the Christian faith is that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Evidenced by His resurrection and His ascension. There IS a Homo Deus. We don’t have to wait for Harari or Kurzweil or anyone else to create a man who is God. There IS a man who is God.
[…] We have come to a very important moment where we can see in our culture ideas that are parodies of what we’ve already got in the Bible. Which gives us a remarkable opportunity to speak into what’s going on. Now, one of the hopes of these people—you probably heard it—is to “upgrade” ourselves and become more intelligent and all this kind of thing.
But you see, there is already in existence a divine upgrade. And phase one is that any one of us, by trusting in Christ as Lord and Savior who died for our sins, can become what we were not by nature: a child of God. That is a SPECTACULAR divine upgrade.
I’m not going to do the whole transcript because I really want you to watch this fabulous presentation and give the good professor some Likes. But wow, man, this gave me goosebumps.
God bless you!
