| The three branches of Vermont state government will begin co-hosting events tomorrow involving the Vermont Supreme Court building, the Vermont State House and the Pavilion Building housing the Governor’s office tomorrow, the Journal-Opinion reports. There is full list of events here to include historical documents on display, presentations, kid’s activities. a naturalization ceremony, and more. Events include: – Historical documents associated with the anniversary will be exhibited in the Vermont Supreme Court Gallery during the period June 29 – July 10, including a Declaration of Independence traveling exhibit that the Library of Congress has developed and including the Vermont Constitution and other historic Vermont documents – A naturalization ceremony officiated by U.S. District Court Judge Geoffrey Crawford will take place in the Vermont Supreme Court courtroom and is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1 at 11 am. – A reading of the Declaration of Independence by Vermont Supreme Court Justices in conjunction with historical context is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1 at 1:00 pm in the Vermont Supreme Court courtroom. – Justice Nancy Waples, Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas, Secretary of Administration Sarah Clark, and Speaker of the House Jill Krowinski will present a tri-branch panel program about the three branches of government, with remarks and introductions by Governor Phil Scott at 3:00 pm on July 1 in the State House Chamber.
