Brattleboro first-grader vaccinated against parents’ will: news report

by Guy Page

The education commissioners for Vermont and New Hampshire have discussed a Nov. 22 news report from New Hampshire news website Granite Grok in which a Brattleboro elementary school vaccinated a six-year-old against the wishes of his father.

Vermont Daily Chronicle asked Gov. Phil Scott today at his press conference, “There’s a news report that a first-grader in the Academy School in Brattleboro was vaccinated against the expressed wishes of his parents. Have you or anyone in your administration heard of this, and if so what steps are you taking to prevent it from happening again?”

Scott said he hadn’t heard about it, but Secretary of Education Secretary Dan French said, “The New Hampshire Commissioner of Education called me to discuss this issue. He just wanted to alert me that he had heard a rumor about this.”

Vermont Daily Chronicle left messages at both the Academy School in Brattleboro, and the Windham Southeast School District. Any response from either will be reported promptly in an updated version of this story.

A review of the Academy School website shows the name “Walior” on the photographed note matches the name of a first-grade teacher, Patty Walior.

The Granite Grok story is republished below, with permission and light edits.

Here is the story from a rather (and rightfully so!) irate Dad who previously told the school that he did not want his son vaccinated and was not giving the Administration at Academy School in Brattleboro, VT permission to do so.

Our son in question is 6 years old and goes to the Academy School and is in the first grade. The first week of November, my wife and I found the school was going to have a Vaccine clinic on the 12th of November. I took my son to school the next morning and on seeing the Vice Principal I explained to him that I was leery and did not want to have our son inoculated yet (if ever). My wife was in agreement.

He (Vice Principal) did not seem happy with what I was saying. On the morning of the 12th, my wife was a little hesitant to send our son to school, trusting what the Vice Principal said. My wife drove our son to school.

Picking our son up in the afternoon, our son announced he got the shot and showed my wife his vaccine card that had the name <redacted  -Skip> for the first name, but a wrong last name. To say we were upset would be a gross understatement.

We knew we would have to wait till Monday to do anything. I got two calls on my cell phone the next day: one from Vermont Department of Health telling me of the mix up and an apologizing for the mix up. Then the school Principal called and she was very apologetic. She told me she would find out what went wrong an get back to me.

We have not heard a thing yet. Also as to the Vice Principal who I had spoke to on the matter:  we have not heard from him at all.

Yep, once again we see another instance of the Education-Industrial Complex deciding that THEIR “responsibility” for the students placed into their limited care isn’t all that limited at all and certainly outweighs that of, ahem, those students’ Parents.

Jon Sessions Brattleboro VT Academy School

This is Jon Sessions, the Vice Principal to whom the Dad talked about not having his son vaxxed. He’s been there 3 years, according to the bio at Academy School

Kelly Dias Brattleboro VT Academy School

This is Kelly Dias, the Principal who called the Dad; she has been at Academy School for 4 years (formerly the Vice Principal).

And yes, I have saved off the page.  Not only that, our source, via the family has supplied us with the VAX card, front and back, and this as well (first name redacted, the fake last name mostly redacted but is included to show we have the real thing:

Student Name Tag Brattleboro Academy School

The VAX card (again, similar redacting treatment of the name):

Academy School VAX Card front
Academy School VAX Card Back

So, just from a legal standpoint, I’m thinking the school and the Administration are in deep sneakers over this. Apologies from Principal Kelly Dias, from a legal standpoint, demonstrate that a wrong has actually happened AGAINST THE PARENTS’ wishes.

Confirmed by the silence from Vice Principal Jon Sessions. And if the clinic was run by the VT Department of Health, what were THEIR safeguards that should have prevented this from happening?

The first name was correct – the last name was “made up”. The Dad said “NO!”. The Mom said “NO!”.

The school said, “Yes?  You BETCHA”. After all, Schools “know” better, right?

Even here in NH, there is a battle of who gets to determine if a kid gets Jabbed or not.  What kind of permission sheet must be offered and then signed?  Or just an announcement that a clinic is happening and LINE UP THOSE SYRINGES!  Having a Parent present, especially for a young child, for the procedure?

Some Districts are saying not needed – at the School Board level. These are the people you want representing YOU for the care of your children?

Sure, the Government has voted that such vaxes are “safe”. Safe – but for what time period?  During the shot, a few days after the shot?

What about years down the line, especially as evidence is mounting that Government DOESN’T know what the longer-term issues may be.

And if adverse reactions DO show up for these little ones (a year or two down the line? What about Puberty or afterward)? The Medicos have no answers – it seems to come down to “Trust us, we’re the experts!”.

Yeah, just as expert as Kelly Dias and Jon Sessions in what seems to be a “sneak him into that Vax line” move?  If something happens, are THEY going to be on the hook for medical and legal bills?   Yes, legal assistance is being assembled from what I understand.

  1. Outrageous:

Keep this in mind: Since the beginning of the pandemic, 20 months ago, only six children under the age of 18 have been hospitalized in Vermont because of Covid – and not one has died. Our children are, clearly, at minimal risk and, according to recent reports, when they develop natural immunity, they have better and longer lasting protection from the virus and its mutations than the vaccine provides.

Meanwhile, with the highest vaccination rate in the country, more than 50% of Vermont’s adult Covid deaths over the last three months have been vaccinated. And now Vermonters are being told that booster shots are recommended because the protection from the vaccine deteriorates quickly.

Question: What is the effect of three doses of these experimental vaccines over such a short period of time on the natural immune systems of our children? Answer: we don’t know.

And it doesn’t matter to the people insisting on these vaccinations, because they are not liable for any adverse effects the vaccines and boosters may cause – because the vaccines are still categorized under Emergency Use Authorization.

  2. Jon Sessions is also trying for his E.D. at UVM under THIS program “Educational Leadership and Policy Studies ” which includes :

    understanding of broad social issues and policies and critical perspectives of social justice, equity, and diversity;

    meeting the needs of students with learning challenges and disabilities and their families;
analysis of policy and fiscal management in education and human services; and
implementation of policies and practices that promote equity and social justice, collaboration and cultural awareness and responsiveness.

Another administrator sneaking in CRT / DEI ??

  3. If someone shoots up one of my children without my permission, someone besides my child is going to be seriously hurt or worse….

  4. There should be a requirement for a signed letter of consent from the parents. Better yet, get these clinics out of the schools. Best: get your kids put of these Communist government schools.

  5. This is still an experimental vaccine and a consent form with detailed risks should have been sent home well in advance for the parents to read and to SIGN if they wished to have their.child vaccinated. No signature, no vaccination. This is a clear, explicit violation of NIH human subjects protocols.

    • No. They need to keep the shot clinics out of the schools – period. The last time the schools pulled this sort of thing was during the Swine Flu fiasco. What happened? Children who had religious and medical exemptions on file with the schools were vaccinated regardless. If parents are going to continue sending their children to these indoctrination institutions, they need to realize the danger they are putting their children in. Teach your child that it is not ok for anybody to give you medicine unless you, the parent tell them it is ok. What happens if they want to be like their friends and get one too – as my 8 yr old nephew is telling his Mom? What happens if your child is sent to the ER though during camp, school, etc – expect the same dangerous situtation – your children could be in harm’s way and jabbed regardless or your consent or not.

  6. They should be required to have every parent give permission and admit understanding that the vaccine remains an experiment and does not have traits of other vaccine procedures; the company producing the vaccines are not held liable for any adverse reactions. I wonder if the school and other agencies promoting the vaccines could be held liable for not better informing people of potential risks as is done with other medicines and injections at hospitals and pharmacies.

  7. Doesn’t matter what the school administration, the classroom teachers, the State Education Department or anyone else’s opinion is regarding the Vaccine. The only thing that matters is the opinion of the parents. The parents say “Yes” or the parents say “No”. No discussion. No question. Parents should be required to submit a letter of approval prior to any administration of any treatment or therapy with specific instructions.

  8. The perpetrators of this assault against a minor child need to be 1) criminally charged and 2) civil suits against the district and lawsuits filed against each individual involved in the assault. This is outright malfeasence against a child. The epitome of evil. God, please, strike these demons down.
