A Vermont state trooper was injured when a car driven by a 64-year-old Marshfield woman pulled out in front of his vehicle as he was in pursuit of another car on Rte. 2 in Danville yesterday evening.
Police say a 2019 Toyota driven by Connie Kellogg pulled out in front of a 2020 Ford Explorer driven by Trooper Gabriel Schrauf, 27, which was traveling west on US Rt 2.
Schrauf was traveling with emergency blue lights on in pursuit of a motor vehicle for a violation when Kellogg pulled out in front of him, police say. Schrauf was unable to avoid Kellogg’s car and collided with the rear end of it.
