The operator was identified as Ms. Jessica Alpers, 28 of Jamaica, NY.  Ms. Alpers was found to have an infant child in the back seat of the vehicle and was subsequently issued a citation for speeding, negligent operation and child cruelty.

She was ordered to report to the  Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on June 1.

  1. Citation means she was ordered in court and was released. Let’s hope the child went with other family members and not allowed to go home with the mom since she was just charged with child cruelty
