  1. Gov. Scott is not a leader who will represent conservative views in the Republican Party, even if they are guaranteed by the US constitution. He is just a pragmatic politician who realizes the eligible voters in the state are currently backing Democratic candidates by approximately 67%

  2. Every two years Republicans have an opportunity to oust Governor Scott but so far have given him a go.
The leadership in the party always encouraged Republicans to re-elect Jim Jeffords because he would support the party line nominations but Jim never failed to show his leftist strips.
A left-leaning Republican in the governors office serves the best of both worlds for Democrats – a leftist Republican gives a sense of bipartisanship and balance where neither exists.

  3. Phil Scott claims that he sees white supremacy and racial inequity dominating the Republican party. I therefore find it curious that he so strongly advocates for Planned Parenthood, whose founder, Margaret Sanger, was well known for her racism and support of eugenics, especially directed against minority populations. The following quote from her “Birth Control Review” magazine in 1938 sums up the sentiment.
“On the other hand, the mass of ignorant Negroes still breed carelessly and disastrously, so that the increase among Negroes, even more than the increase among whites, is from that part of the population least intelligent and fit, and least able to rear their children properly.”
According to the 2010 Census report, 79% of Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of African American or Hispanic neighborhoods. That cannot be by accident.

There is so much talk within the Republican party of the importance of standing behind and supporting our candidates for office. Trump was the Republican candidate for office both in 2016 and 2020. Yet our “Republican” governor, who is supposed to be leading the state GOP, never seems to miss an opportunity to bash him. He even publicly stated that he voted for Biden. How’s that for building party unity? Anyone who follows real journalism, outside of the mainstream media, knows that there is ample evidence that this past election was stolen. The court cases were not dismissed due to lack of evidence of a massive number of voter irregularities throughout the country, but rather because corrupt officials refused to even look at it. Scott and many other Republicans, were complicit in knowingly certifying fraudulent election results, along with the Democrats.

Ericka Redic’s observation that Anne Galloway seemed to imply that all Republicans were complicit in the assault on the Capitol in DC was right on the mark. Case in point is the article published in VT Digger on January 13th titled ” ‘Was a great time,’ says a Vermonter who was close to the insurrection”, which attacked a Vermont resident who attended the rally, insinuating that he had a great time participating in the violence. I had an email exchange with Ms. Galloway over said article, during which it became apparent that she had no intention of researching and reporting the facts, as any professional journalist would be expected to do. In response to my questioning how so many eyewitness accounts could be in direct contradiction to the claims in her article, her glib reply was, “Yep, I’m afraid they’ve been deluded by their leader into believing falsehoods.” THEIR LEADER? At the time she wrote this, Donald Trump was still our President, and OUR leader, which also means HER leader. Somehow this is reminiscent of the “not my President” crowd that was so vocal in 2016.

Ms. Redic spoke of two wings of the Republican party, progressive and conservative. No, according to their platform, the Republican party is conservative. The Democrats are progressive. We need to stand for something, and we cannot have it both ways. I see two options going forward. Either Phil Scott leaves the Republican party, or he stays with the apparent blessings of their leadership, and real Republicans leave to form a new party based on traditional conservative values and adherence to both our state and federal Constitutions. At least voters will then have a choice in the election. We will never know if a true conservative could win, until we agree to address the real possibility of voter fraud swaying the reported election results.

    • Anne Galloway has been, for years now, Vermont’s Leftist minister of public enlightenment and propaganda. She is the State’s version of a NYT recommended “reality czar” and “truth commission” – to fix the “reality crisis” and “de-radicalize” citizens.

  4. The enemy within:

Scott IS a leader who will represent conservative views in the Republican Party.

But how will he do that?

By revising those views to reflect the progressive liberal perspective, that all things conservative are racist, white supremacist, insurrections.

Of course, there is no evidence that conservatives are racist, white supremacists. But the liberal tenants Scott now seems to espouse seek to define any questioning of the Left’s rules, let alone any debate on the matter, as racism and white supremacy too.

Oh, and one more thing to describe the Left’s political tactics. Progressive liberals are tag teaming this match. This is the inherent disadvantage to ‘individualism’. The plethora of actions and accusations being submitted by the Leftist Mob are designed to wear down the individual. One need only count the number of actions (executive or otherwise) flying in from the sidelines every time the referee turns his head away from the fighting to monitor a previous attack. Never mind that the referee is bought and paid for too. It is the Leftist Mob (Wall Street, the MSM, Hollywood) after all, that controls the money, and the crowd.

The only thing remaining that protects the ‘individual’ is the U.S. Constitution. And, as you can see by such educational trash as the 1619 Project, even the Constitution is being characterized as, yes, …a racist, white supremacist, insurrection.

So, what’s the Left’s endgame? It’s what it’s always been and always will be. It’s about the money, and the power to sustain cashflow. Just follow the money.
