A 19-year-old Richford man is facing a charge following an investigation by the Vermont State Police into an alleged sexual relationship with a minor.
Police say Matthew Stryker, 19, of Richford, was investigated beginning March 4, by state police working with the Northwest Unit for Special Investigations and the Vermont Department for Children and Families.
According to investigators, authorities received a report that Stryker had been involved in a sexual relationship with a juvenile. Detectives determined that the relationship allegedly began in the summer of 2025 with a 14-year-old.
Stryker turned himself in to state police on March 13. After consultation with the Franklin County State’s Attorney’s Office, he was issued a flash citation and released.
He is scheduled to appear in the Criminal Division of Franklin County Superior Court at 1 p.m. on March 16.
